Music and sound effects for events
Play background music and sound effects during events with the LemonScore music module. Manage your audio library directly in the LemonScore app.
The Music module lets you play background music and sound effects directly from LemonScore. Whether it is walk-on music, half-time entertainment or goal anthems, music control is seamlessly integrated into the controller.
The Music module is available in LemonScore Pro and Enterprise.
Adding music
- Go to Music in the main menu.
- Click Add music or drag and drop audio files into the list.
Supported formats:
- MP3
- WAV
- OGG
- AAC
You can add as many tracks as you like and organise them into different categories.
Controlling playback
Music control is accessible from the controller:
- Play / Pause: starts or pauses the current playback.
- Stop: stops playback and resets the position.
- Next / Previous: jumps to the next or previous track.
- Volume: adjust the volume with the slider.
Music categories
Organise your music into categories for quick access during a match:
- Walk-on music: played when the teams walk onto the pitch.
- Half-time: played automatically during the break.
- Goal anthem: can be linked to an animation and is played automatically when a goal is scored.
- General: freely usable music for any situation.
Volume and audio output
Under Settings, Music you can configure the audio output:
- Output device: choose the desired audio output device (for example built-in speaker, external sound system, HDMI audio).
- Default volume: define the volume at which new tracks start.
- Fade in / fade out: enable smooth transitions when starting and stopping music.
Make sure the correct audio output device is selected. If the scoreboard is connected via HDMI, audio is output through the HDMI output by default.
Tips
- File size: use compressed formats such as MP3 to save storage space. WAV files are considerably larger.
- Naming: give your music files meaningful names (for example GoalAnthem_FCBasel.mp3) so you can find them quickly in the controller.
- Test in advance: test the volume and audio output before the event to avoid surprises.
