Which device fits our club?

With a fixed announcer's booth the Controller is the simplest: switch on and go. If you set up at the touchline before every match, the Case is the right choice. For occasional use or to get started, your own Windows or Mac computer is enough.

Is a normal laptop enough?

For the software, yes: LemonScore runs with every feature on Windows 10 or macOS 11 and later. Outdoors, though, a laptop display is often hard to read in direct sunlight and unprotected against weather and dust. That is why the Controller and the Case have a 1'000-nit touchscreen.

Is the LemonScore licence included in the price?

No. The Controller and the Case are the hardware; the licence is charged separately. The plans are on the pricing page.

What does the Stream Deck in the Case do?

It puts the most frequent actions on physical keys: goal, card, substitution, half-time and sponsor change. A volunteer at the touchline runs the scoreboard with one press.

Q: How is the device connected to the LED wall?

Over HDMI to the wall's LED processor. LemonScore also drives a Novastar processor directly, for example for the brightness.

The LemonScore Controller is a ready-configured 1'000-nit touchscreen for the announcer's booth. The Controller Case brings the same screen plus a Stream Deck to the touchline in a hardshell case.

LemonScore Controller

The ready-configured system for clubs with a fixed operating position, such as the announcer's booth, a control room or behind the perimeter boards. Unpack it, connect it over HDMI, switch it on.

Touchscreen with LemonScore pre-installed

In the box: A 1'000-nit touchscreen monitor and a pre-installed system with the current LemonScore version. No drivers, no setup.
Fits: Announcer's, control and press booths. Clubs that run every home match and rotate volunteers: one standard device saves training.

Your own computer

LemonScore runs on any current Windows or Mac device. An existing club laptop is enough for score, match clock, sponsor slots and layouts.

Windows 10 or macOS 11 and later

Fits: Clubs that want to use existing devices, occasional use and friendlies, budgets without room for extra hardware.
Keep in mind: A normal laptop display is often too dim in direct sunlight, and an unprotected device suffers from weather and dust.

From the screen to the LED wall

Controller, Case or laptop send the picture over HDMI to the wall's LED processor. The processor distributes the signal to the modules.

LemonScore also drives a Novastar processor directly, for example to dim the wall in the evening. For live streams we recommend a refresh rate of 3'840 Hz.

Tell us which wall and which processor you have. We recommend the right option and quote the device on its own.
Setup
The device ships with the current LemonScore version. Set up layout, teams and sponsors once, then just switch it on.
