LED controller: Novastar Coex control

Connect LemonScore to a Novastar Coex LED controller to control the brightness of your LED scoreboard and view monitoring data from the LED wall in real time.

With the LED Controller integration you connect LemonScore directly to a Novastar Coex controller. Control the brightness of your LED wall and monitor temperature, voltage and cabinet status. All from within the LemonScore interface.

💡

The LED controller integration is available in LemonScore Pro. You need a Novastar Coex controller in the same network.

Connecting the controller

  1. Go to Settings, Connections, Coex Controller.
  2. Enter the controller IP address (e.g. 192.168.1.50).
  3. Click Connect.
  4. Once the connection succeeds, the status changes to Connected.

LemonScore communicates with the Coex controller via port 8001. Make sure this port is reachable in your network.

Controlling brightness

Once connected, you can adjust the Brightness of the LED wall directly in LemonScore. The brightness change is applied immediately to all connected screens.

Brightness can also be controlled via the Remote Control and the API.

Monitoring

The Monitoring section shows real-time data from the controller:

  • Temperature: Current temperature of the controller
  • Voltage: Voltage readings
  • Fans: Fan status
  • Input Sources: Connected input sources
  • Outputs: Active outputs
  • Cabinets: Status of the individual LED cabinets (Normal, Alarm, Fault)

Device information

Under Device Info you find technical details about the controller:

  • Name and Model of the controller
  • Firmware version
  • IP address and Serial number
  • Controller uptime

Tips and notes

  • Network: The controller and LemonScore must be in the same network. Port 8001 must be reachable.
  • Test the brightness: Adjust the brightness to the lighting conditions before the event. In daylight, a higher brightness is needed.
  • Check the monitoring: Check the cabinet status before the match. Cabinets with the status Alarm or Fault indicate a hardware problem.
⚠️

When the connection is closed, the LED controller keeps its current brightness. LemonScore only controls the controller while the connection is active.
