Terms of Service
Effective from: 1 August 2025
This English version is provided for convenience. The German version is legally binding.
1. Acceptance of the Terms
By downloading, installing or using the LemonScore software ("the Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Software.
2. Software Licence
2.1 Grant of Licence
Lemon Juice GmbH grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Software in accordance with these Terms and the licence type you have purchased.
2.2 Licence Types
Basic licence: single-machine licence for basic features, Pro licence: single-machine licence with advanced features, Demo mode: limited functionality for evaluation purposes
2.3 Licence Restrictions
You may not: copy, modify or distribute the Software, reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the Software, remove or alter proprietary notices, use the Software for illegal purposes, transfer your licence to another person or entity
3. Software Features and Functionality
3.1 Core Features
Football match scoring and timekeeping, team and player management, media playback and playlist management, remote control functionality, LED display integration
3.2 Technical Requirements
Compatible operating system (Windows/macOS), minimum hardware specifications as stated, internet connection for licence validation and updates
4. User Responsibilities
4.1 Acceptable Use
You agree to: use the Software only for its intended purposes, keep your licence key secure, not attempt to circumvent licensing mechanisms, comply with all applicable laws and regulations
4.2 Content Responsibility
You are responsible for: all content you upload or create with the Software, ensuring that you hold the rights to all media files, compliance with copyright and intellectual property law, the accuracy of match data and team information
5. Intellectual Property
5.1 Software Ownership
The Software and all associated intellectual property rights belong to Lemon Juice GmbH. This includes: source code and object code, user interface and graphics, documentation and manuals, trademarks and trade names
5.2 User Content
You retain ownership of the content you create with the Software but grant us a licence to use it for: software improvement and development, technical support and troubleshooting, quality assurance and testing
6. Disclaimers and Limitations
6.1 Software Availability
The Software is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, features may be changed or discontinued at any time
6.2 Data and Content
We are not responsible for data loss or corruption, you are responsible for backing up your data, we do not guarantee the accuracy of match data or timekeeping
6.3 Third-Party Services
Remote control features depend on the network connection, LED display compatibility is not guaranteed, third-party media formats may not be supported
7. Limitation of Liability
7.1 General Limitation
To the maximum extent permitted under Swiss law, Lemon Juice GmbH is not liable for: direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages, loss of profits, data or business opportunities, damages arising from the use of or inability to use the Software, claims by third parties
7.2 Maximum Liability
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the software licence.
7.3 Exceptions
This limitation does not apply to: wilful misconduct or gross negligence, personal injury or death, breaches of mandatory Swiss law
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify Lemon Juice GmbH against all claims, damages or expenses arising from: your use of the Software, your breach of these Terms, your infringement of third-party rights, your content or data
9. Termination
9.1 Termination by You
You may terminate your licence by: uninstalling the Software, ceasing to use it, giving us written notice
9.2 Termination by Us
We may terminate your licence if you: breach these Terms, use the Software illegally, attempt to circumvent licensing, fail to pay the fees due
9.3 Effects of Termination
Upon termination: your licence rights end immediately, you must cease using the Software, you may lose access to your data, we may delete your account information
10. Updates and Changes
10.1 Software Updates
We may provide updates to improve functionality, updates may be automatic or require your consent, some updates may be mandatory for continued use
10.2 Updates to the Terms
We may change these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by: publishing the updated Terms in the Software, sending an email notification, displaying a notice in the Software
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
11.1 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by Swiss law, in particular: the Swiss Code of Obligations (CO), the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP), other applicable Swiss laws and regulations
11.2 Dispute Resolution
Disputes are settled before Swiss courts, the competent court is located in the Canton of Aargau, alternative dispute resolution may be available
12. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
13. Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Lemon Juice GmbH regarding the Software and supersede all prior agreements or understandings.

15. Force Majeure
We are not liable for any failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, government actions, network or infrastructure failures, third-party service interruptions
